I imagine my ideal software to be a hybrid of OmniPlan/Calendar/MindNode where I can get that 10,000+ feet view of my upcoming work projects / available time / holidays / etc. OmniPlan 4 is now available on Mac and iOS as a universal purchase that costs 199.99 for the standard edition, or 399.99 for the Pro. I have tried the OmniPlan trial for a fortnight previously but I think it was overkill for what i need.I was going to try it again and realised it was nearly £200 so thought again. Grouping tasks and making tasks become a subset of other tasks is also a great feature. It also can outline their tasks for all projects that I have on the go, which is quite a few! I find the additional risk reporting that can be associated with certain tasks to be a great help in ensuring risks are addressed.
